🛬 Arrival: Welcome to
Stockholm
Your journey begins at Arlanda
Airport (ARN), Sweden’s busiest airport, surrounded by serene lakes and
forests. The terminals, with their blonde wood floors and massive windows, feel
like an oversized Nordic lodge.
- Getting to the City: Skip the taxi and hop on
the Arlanda Express, a high-speed train that whisks you
to Stockholm Central Station in just 18 minutes.
At around $30 for a one-way ticket, it’s a quick and
affordable way to start your adventure.

☀️ Morning: Nobel Prizes and Old
Town Charm
1. Stockholm City Hall:
Start your day at this architectural masterpiece, where the Nobel Prize banquet
is held. Take a guided tour to marvel at the Blue Hall and
the Golden Hall, adorned with 18 million gold mosaic tiles.
2. Gamla Stan (Old Town):
Just a short walk away, this 13th-century district is a maze of cobblestone
streets, colorful buildings, and historic charm. Don’t miss the chance to
cross Norrbro, a neoclassical stone bridge, and explore Riksplan
Park and the Riksdagshuset (Swedish Parliament).
- Fika Break: Embrace the Swedish tradition of fika—a coffee break with a social twist. Head to Café Schweizer, a historic spot since 1920, for a steaming cup of coffee and a pastry (try their famous apple strudel!).

Maritime Marvels
1. Royal Palace:
Witness the changing of the guard and explore one of Europe’s
largest palaces. With 600 rooms and five museums,
it’s a treasure trove of history. Highlights include the royal
apartments, the Hall of State, and Queen Kristina’s
silver throne.

2. Vasa Museum:
Hop on a ferry (or walk) to this one-of-a-kind museum, home to the Vasa
warship. This 17th-century vessel sank on its maiden voyage but was
miraculously preserved and now stands as a testament to Sweden’s maritime
history.

3. ABBA The Museum:
Just a short walk away, this interactive museum celebrates Sweden’s most famous
pop group. Sing, dance, and relive the magic of hits like “Dancing
Queen” and “Mamma Mia.”

Head to Södermalm, Stockholm’s creative hub, and explore the
